Creating a VPN Brand from scratch
As the sole designer at the time, I led the branding conceptualisation of VPNCity, a Virtual Private Network service that brings together entertainment and security solutions:
- Created an exceptional experience for all types of users, from tech-savvy who understand the risks of going online and those want to protect their data, to people that just want to Netflix & Chill by watching TV Show that's not available on their country.
- I designed their Android app, MacOS and Windows app and browser extension as the website and corporate brand.

Business Goals
Build and grow a VPN company from the ground up. Creating a reliable, multi-platform service that stands out from the crowd with a fun, captivating brand that communicates with the tech and non-tech public.
User Goals
Enjoy a user-friendly VPN service that works on all their devices and allows them to access geo-restricted content, protect their online presence, and save money.
The 100k+ Mobile Apps
The app was designed to be user-friendly and easily adaptable to various devices including mobile and desktop apps, browser extensions, and even TV. We focused on a select group of core app page types to keep the design library uncomplicated.
The android app is used for 100k+ users.
A friendly stealth character
The slogan of VPNCity is “Go Stealth Online Worldwide.” This message instantly made me think of a ninja - a charismatic and friendly character who perfectly embodies the concept of being undetected.
I collaborated with an illustrator to create the initial ninja illustration and made additional customizations to represent the various personas.
Developing 150+ pages
I utilized the ninja character to create over 150 marketing landing pages for our social media ad campaigns andI also took on the task of designing and developing these pages from scratch.
User’s centralized hub
I designed and developed the front-end of the user’s dashboard for tech users who want to manage their VPN, Dedicated IPs, or profit from the affiliates program.

A dashboard to present actionable and relevant information in a clear and direct way, empowering users to achieve their goals quickly.
Referral Page
We used gamification rewards techniques, such as badges to provide recognition for accomplishments and bonifications, to encourage referrals.
Affiliate Panel
A page for users who want to earn a piece of the profit by making sales. We give promotional marketing materials to be utilized by the affiliates to advertise and pre-sell the service.
