Redeveloping a Web Platform
In order to be successful, businesses need to be able to adapt to changes. As a software developer, a back-end developer and I faced with the challenge of rebuilding an entire platform. This involved not only updating legacy code but also creating new features and focusing on improving the user experience. The end result was an outstanding user experience that included streaming, video lessons, quizzes, and real-time news updates.

Functional in all devices
We understand the importance of responsive design and have also given priority to portability. This ensures that every tool works seamlessly on all devices, providing a smooth experience for all users, regardless of whether they have the latest iPhone or an old laptop.
Video streaming, impossible to miss it.
To ensure users never miss a live stream, the platform displays a list of upcoming streams accompanied by a countdown to the next one.
We developed a notification system that allows users to select preferred streams in advance and access previous streams for replay.
Quizzes, fun engagement tools
As a UX designer, I know quizzes are a powerful gamification technique to drive human emotions. That's because:
- They’re fun, and interactive and provide a sense of achievement when completed.
- Taking a quiz can evoke a sense of satisfaction, which can ultimately boost user involvement with the platform.
Coaches and the Authority Principle
Aside from providing great tools, the Trading Room allows users to learn from and interact with industry experts. But why is this important?
- As humans, we tend to rely on judgment heuristics, which means we assume that those in positions of authority have more knowledge and influence.
- In the context of trading, learning from experienced traders and engaging in conversations with them can help individuals build a successful trading career.
Real-time news, or, Markets move fast
Since markets move because of news, economic data is often the most important catalyst for short-term movements.Geopolitical conflicts, economic data and other external factors can impact the Forex markets.
- Keeping an eye on the news without leaving the platform is a great tool we built to get and filter the latest Forex-related news.
- It helps to increase user retention since they don't need to leave the platform to be informed.
